I will admit that this shoot was mostly about the flowers. McKenzie is an extraordinary floral designer in Seattle. It was so wonderful being able to photograph some of her beautiful work during my visit there in January, but it was even better getting to know this lovely couple. McKenzie and James are kind, generous, loving, and (like many of the new friends I met on my trip to Seattle) they astounded me with their hospitality. Such a fantastic trip. Isn’t making new friends just lovely?
