Duncan and Tyler are such a fantastic couple. We are so excited to have had the opportunity to photograph them at Big Sky, Montana, this winter and we are looking forward to their Christmas wedding later this year.
Engagement sessions are the perfect time for a couple to get to know their photographers, which is important because the photographer is the one of the only wedding vendors who will be by the couple’s side throughout their wedding day. The entire wedding photography experience is smooth and enjoyable when the couple is comfortable with their photographers; the bride and groom can relax, trust us to get the job done, and focus on fully enjoying one of the most outstanding days of their lives. For this reason and several others, engagement sessions are a big part of what we do. Chris and I especially love it when a couple allows us to incorporate something meaningful into their engagement photo session because it makes the set of images that much more special and helps us to connect with them on a personal level… What better time and place for an engagement session than on a winter getaway in the mountains! Fun!

Duncan is my niece, on my husband’s side. I’ve been with her since she was born and I love her dearly. Looking forward to her wedding day and having Tyler join our family. He’s a precious young man. I pray God will richly bless them in their new life as they become one.
