There’s just something about a relaxed outdoor wedding venue when the weather starts to get cool in Georgia. This couple celebrated their wedding surrounded by their friends and family, with an early fall fête, subtly seated in tones of deep crimson, white, and grey. The autumn color palette worked perfectly against the brickwork of the historic ruins at Barnsley Gardens. Golden sunlight worked in our favor, as we captured the couple laughing and enjoying the company of those who came from all around simply to honor them.

In keeping with tradition, the couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony. We loved the genuine look of loving relief on Shawn’s face when he saw Molly walking down the aisle with her father and the honest happiness the two radiated after they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife. The timing was perfect as we walked with them to their private dinner in the bamboo garden, pausing for a few portraits just as the sun set over the ruins.
