Amy Bowley is an extraordinary floral designer based in the UK. I met her through a little project we worked on together in Italy (Retreat Rome 2013). My favorite thing about Amy is her British accent and her hilarious sense of humor. She introduced me to a flower known as “kangaroo balls.”

{Wednesday Friends Day is a simple project with a simple purpose. I have collected quite a few head shots of friends throughout my time as a photographer. This project helps me to reflect on those head shots and reconnect with the people I call friends. I’ll share an anecdote or something I like best about each person pictured here in this series. Ah Buffy! I didn’t know what to expect from our time together in Rome… I knew it was going to be incredible, but I never imagined that I’d meet life long and truly inspirational friends and side kicks, not to mention the stunning work we all pulled off together.
